Our purpose is to map out the existing capacity, facilitate the access to and exchange of knowledge, and address the urgent learning or project needs. Our members collaborate through south-south or north-south exchanges, workshops, forums, case studies, good practice guidelines, and other innovative activities.
Currently, the Ecotourism Learning Network is addressing three thematic areas: Concessions, Value Chain Analysis, and Tourism in Protected Areas. We are also assessing existing expertise, interest and capacity in our group. Our Network has recently developed relevant technical support in Suriname, China and Venezuela. The results and lessons learned from these exchanges will be captured and be accessible to all.
The Ecotourism Tool Kit can be found in the Online Library
. The documents in this kit are organized by the different phases of a project cycle; industry selection, identify competitiveness strategy, value chain analysis, action plan implementation and M&E.
